MYOKO KOGEN

The area offers some of the most outstanding skiing in all of Asia with an average base of four metres and snow walls sometimes building up to more than three metres high at the height of the season.

OUTSTANDING ACCOMMODATION

We offer seven western style guestrooms, some with king size beds for the perfect night’s sleep after a magic day on snow.  For a true Japanese lodge experience, we have shared bathroom facilities with an ofuro bath to soak away the day’s aches and pains.  Luxury toiletries are supplied.

CONTINENTAL BUFFET BREAKFAST

We provide a continental buffet breakfast every morning along with a hot dish to get you set up for your day in the renowned Japanese powder.

DAILY TRANSFERS

To any one of the 9 mountain resorts in the area are offered every morning with a pickup in the afternoon. Lift passes, equipment hire along with ski and snowboard lessons can be facilitated through us and the friendly team at Myoko Snow Sports.

GETTING THERE

To get to Myoko Kogen from Tokyo, take a bullet train (shinkansen) from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station, then transfer to the local train to Myoko Kogen Station. Alternatively, take a direct bus from Tokyo to Myoko Kogen. Both options take approximately 3-4 hours and offer stunning views of the Japanese countryside.

POWDER SEASON

The ski season at Myoko Kogen typically runs from mid-December to late March, with the peak season in January and February. The area receives an average of 14 metres of snow annually, making it a paradise for powder hounds. Ski runs at any of the local ski fields range from beginner to expert level.
